Matcha Sifter Tin

A matcha sifter tin is a traditional tool used to sift matcha before preparation.

High-quality matcha has extremely fine particles and is prone to static electricity, which can cause clumping. For this reason, sifting matcha before use is essential for achieving a smooth and delicious bowl of matcha.

While a regular tea strainer also works, this matcha sifter tin allows you to easily create a fine, fluffy powder by gently pressing the matcha through the mesh with the included spatula.

After Use (Cleaning and Care)

Avoid washing the sifter with water.
After use, gently wipe away any remaining matcha with a paper towel or a soft cloth.

抹茶篩（まっちゃふるい）は、抹茶を使用前にふるうための茶道具です。

上質な抹茶ほど粒子が細かく、静電気が起きやすいため、ダマになりやすいという性質があります。そのため、抹茶を美味しく点てるためには、使用前に抹茶をふるう必要があります。

一般的な茶こしでも問題ありませんが、こちらの抹茶篩缶では、付属のヘラで抹茶を優しく押し出すことで、手軽にきめ細かい抹茶を得ることができます。

【お手入れ方法】

使用後は水洗いを避け、キッチンペーパーや柔らかい布で抹茶を優しく拭き取って保管してください。
